Cost Estimator

 

General Description:

Provide support and expertise in the discipline of Cost Estimating and Analysis to a Center for Cost Analysis, as it relates to all financial management activities for Information Technology (IT), and Automated Information Systems (AIS) programs.

Cost Estimation and Analysis skills for Construction are NOT commensurate with this job requirement, and the individual MUST have an Information Technology background to qualify for this position.

MUST be a US Citizen with a current DOD SECRET clearance OR capable of being cleared to that level.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years cost estimation experience

• IT cost estimation required

• Proficiency with ACEIT tools required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required

• Department of Defense acquisition program management experience desirable

 

Education:

4 year degree or equivalent experience

 

Certifications:

DAU Cost Analysis or ICEAA Certifications desirable, not required

 

Skills:

• Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE)

• Independent Cost Estimates (ICE)

• Component Cost Estimates (CCE)

• Economic Analyses (EA)

• Business Case Analyses (BCA)

• Customer Acquisition/Cost IPT
